Ben Heim is an Australian real-time generative artist and composer based in New York City. Drawing on his background in contemporary classical and film music, his work explores intimate connections between light, sound, movement, and data to create immersive synesthetic experiences. He is a pioneer in the field of real-time generative art, and is most known for his interactive audiovisual installations, which have been shown across the world; graced stages in live musical performances alongside the likes of James Francies, Tale of Us, and London Contemporary Orchestra; lit up the facade of the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik; and found their way into the homes of esteemed private collectors. Ben currently has installations on public and private display in New York, Nashville, and Miami.
